To start hiring equipment from Wenbro Hire, you must first open an account by completing our application form and submitting all required supporting documents. If you wish to open an account under a business name, you will need to provide copies of each director’s ID, proof of residence for the business (not older than 3 months), company registration documents, a letter of resolution (if there is more than one director), and three trade references.

Opening an account typically takes a few hours. We want to ensure the verification process is thorough, which includes conducting credit checks, calling references, and verifying documentation. However, if you’re in a rush, just let the branch manager know and we’ll do our best to expedite the process for you. We look forward to serving you!

At Wenbro Hire, we don’t charge for Sundays. However, we do charge for machines that are out on public holidays.

Here at Wenbro Hire, we charge a 24-hour hire rate for all our machines. Unfortunately, we don’t have an hourly or half-day option available.

At Wenbro Hire, we are happy to offer delivery and collection services for our hired equipment. We understand that it can be challenging to transport heavy machinery and equipment, which is why we provide a hassle-free delivery service for your convenience. Please contact your nearest branch to receive a quote for our delivery and collection services.

Absolutely! When you purchase a machine from Wenbro Hire, we can deliver it to anywhere in South Africa. However, at this time we are unable to offer hire services of machines outside of Gauteng or Limpopo. This is because we want to ensure that we can provide the best quality service to our customers by being able to service and assist them at all times.

At Wenbro Hire, we want our customers to feel confident when operating our machines, which is why we offer basic operational training with our delivery service. Our mechanics also provide training at our branches when testing equipment before loading machines for customers. We’re always happy to help you get the most out of our equipment.

None of our machines come with a full tank of fuel, and there’s no need to return them with a full tank either. Just bring them back in the same condition you received them, and we’ll take care of the rest. We are able to supply fuel at an additional fee if you need it.

While we provide basic scaffolding frames and equipment for hire, we don’t offer an erection service. However, we can guide you on how to do it yourself, and it’s often easier than you might think.

At Wenbro Hire, we are always a phone call away. If any faults or breakdowns occur while using hired equipment, simply contact the branch you hired from or your nearest Wenbro branch, and where possible we will guide you through troubleshooting the issue over the phone. Where possible we can also do a quick video call, one of our experienced technicians will join to help resolve the challenge. If we are unable to resolve the issue over the phone, we will send a driver to your site to replace the faulty equipment as soon as possible. If it is convenient and will be quicker for you, you can return the equipment to your nearest Wenbro branch for an immediate replacement. Taking the machine to your nearest branch might be the quickest option, depending on driver availability.

We understand that getting your deposit back is important, and we aim to process refunds as quickly as possible. If you paid your deposit in cash, we’ll refund it to you immediately upon return of all equipment. If you paid by card or EFT, it may take up to 2 working days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times. Rest assured that we’ll do everything we can to make sure you receive your deposit back as soon as possible.

At Wenbro Hire, we don’t provide operators for the machines we hire out. However, we do offer basic training on how to use our equipment when you pick up or we deliver it.

No special permit or license is needed to operate any of the equipment available for hire at Wenbro. However, we recommend consulting with your site safety officer if you have any doubts, to ensure that you receive proper training before operating any heavy machinery.

Yes, you can send someone to hire equipment on your behalf by filling out a Permission to Hire Slip at Wenbro Hire. This document grants permission for anyone to hire equipment using your account. Please contact your nearest branch to obtain a copy of this document if you are interested in authorizing someone else to hire equipment on your behalf.

Any quotation provided by Wenbro Hire is valid for a period of 14 days.

While we don’t offer additional discounts upon the return of hired equipment, we do provide a full refund of your deposit as long as the machine is returned in the same condition as when it was collected.
