FAQs
To start hiring equipment from Wenbro Hire, you must first open an account by completing our application form and submitting all required supporting documents. Business accounts require director IDs, proof of business address (not older than 3 months), company registration documents, a resolution letter (if more than one director) and three trade references; personal accounts require an ID, proof of residence (not older than 3 months) and three references.
Opening an account typically takes a few hours while we complete verification, including credit checks, reference calls and document checks. Turnaround depends on how quickly references respond—having complete documents and reachable references helps avoid delays.
Wenbro Hire doesn’t charge for Sundays. We do charge for machines that are out on public holidays.
We charge a 24-hour hire rate for all machines. Unfortunately, we don’t offer hourly or half-day hire options.
Yes—Wenbro Hire can deliver and collect hired equipment. Contact your nearest branch to get a quote for delivery and collection based on your location and equipment requirements.
If a fault occurs, call the branch you hired from (or your nearest Wenbro branch) and we’ll troubleshoot with you over the phone or via a quick video call where possible. If it can’t be resolved remotely, we’ll arrange a replacement as soon as possible, or you can return the equipment to the nearest branch if that’s quicker.
Cash deposits are refunded immediately when all equipment is returned. Card or EFT refunds can take up to 2 working days to reflect, depending on your bank’s processing times.
Wenbro Hire can deliver purchased machines anywhere in South Africa, however Hire services are currently limited to Gauteng and Limpopo so we can provide the required service and support. If you need equipment outside these provinces, speak to the team about purchase options and logistics.
